Fairdeal Furniture is one of Kenya’s leading furniture retailers with multiple showrooms and a growing customer base. Despite their physical success, their online presence was outdated, slow, and ineffective for digital marketing or online sales.
Project Summary
Objective: Revamp an outdated e-commerce site to improve speed, user experience, conversions, and online sales — while integrating AI automations for inventory and product management.

- Slow-loading website with poor mobile responsiveness

As the lead full-stack developer and AI automations expert, I was responsible for:

- ✅ Integrating payments via PesaPal
- ✅ Managing daily operations, backups, updates & analytics

AI-Powered Automation
To streamline operations, I developed an internal Laravel + VueJS application that:
- Syncs with their ERP system for inventory updates
- Creates product bundles and auto-uploads them to WooCommerce
- Handles product image uploads and stores them in Minio for fast delivery

Although results weren’t immediate, the improvements became evident within the first few months post-launch:
